Energy Saving Improvements Details
The property is a 3 bedroom semi detached ex council property thought to have been built in the 1930s. It has undergone a number of energy saving improvements by the present owner.
The central heating boiler has been replaced recently with a high efficiency combination boiler and the hot water cylinder has been removed because the new boiler provides instantaneous hot water.
The south facing hipped roof doesn't provide much space for a large PV system, but 6 panels have been mounted on the front elevation which provide around 1.5kWp.
The house also has a number of other improvements including cavity wall insulation, double glazing and a log burning room heater.
The Energy Performance Certificate puts the house in band C with SAP78 producing 1.6tCO2 annually.
