Energy Saving Improvements Details

The original bungalow was built in the 1950s and has 2 later extensions including a loft conversion.

It is fully insulated with loft and cavity wall insulation and some retro-fitted ground floor insulation fitted by the owners.

All of the windows are double glazed with the later ones being A rated.

Photo voltaic panels have been fitted on the south facing roof capable of generating up to 2.95kWp. These were fitted as part of a renewable energy scheme organised by a local environmental community group.

80% of the lights are low energy CFLs.

An energy performance certificate (EPC) was carried out putting the house in band C with a rating of SAP72 producing 5.3tCO2 annually.
